An email from Roy's wife Charlene received 11-6-99

"I spoke with Roy last night. Thursday night they moved him out of the medical part of the jail. Friday morning @ breakfast he became dizzy, faint, and disoriented. The nurses and doctors were called and they put him back in medical. He still has no pillow and must use his blanket for one, so he remains cold. Friday's lunch was his first meal in 26 hours. He has been too sick and scared to eat. He is in a room just large enough for the bed. There is nothing for him to read or watch to distract him. He was only able to sleep 2 hours Thursday night."
